This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the UPVOTERED website uses. Questions: info@upvote.red, 78 Auckland St, Boston, MA 02125, USA.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as localStorage, work the same way. Some are needed for the site to work; others help a site owner understand how the site is used.
What we use today
Very little. The site has no advertising, social-media or analytics cookies. Fonts are served from our own host, so no third party sees your visit when a page loads.
| Name | Category | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
uv-consent (localStorage) | Necessary | UPVOTERED | Remembers your cookie choice, if we ever ask for one | Until you clear it |
When you send a quote request, the form is processed by Netlify Forms, our hosting provider, which may use a hidden spam-protection field. It does not set tracking cookies.
If we add analytics
If we add an analytics tool in the future, it will be off until you say yes: a banner will ask for your consent, the tool will be listed in the table above, and a “Cookie settings” link in the footer will let you change your choice at any time. If you withdraw consent, analytics stops loading from the next page view.
Blocking cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; the site will keep working.
