Mast
Floor lamp
A heavy steel base, a solid wood section in the middle, one shade on top.
About
Mast is a quiet companion standing next to the armchair. A thick steel base plate keeps it grounded — kids, cats and vacuum cleaners won’t tip it. Halfway up, at hand height, there’s a turned solid wood section, so when you move it or switch it on you touch wood, not cold metal.
The shade throws reading light down and slightly forward. Wood and steel meet at a threaded joint; the parts come apart and the lamp travels in a small box.
